The Commission has conducted a Geo-Scientist Prelims Exam post-wise. The Exam is held for Scientist B (Hydrogeology), Scientist B (Geophysics), and Chemist & Scientist B (Chemical). Each post is organized with three papers i.e. Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III. Each Paper was of 200 Marks and the total is 600 Marks for Main Examination. UPSC Geo-Scientist Exam Scheme 2023

The Main Exam will be held for 600 marks and it consists of three papers i.e. Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III.  Each paper is divided into 200 marks and the time duration will be of 3 hours for each paper. The question will be asked from the respective subject which chosen by candidates at online registration.

Objection to UPSC Geo-Scientist Answer Key 2023
