UPSC Geo-Scientist and Geologist Selection Process

The candidate will be selected on the basis of the exam (Both papers Paper-1 & Paper-2). Those who will clear both papers will qualify for the next rounds. And then Candidates have to clear the final round which is the Personality test (Interview). Applicants who will clear the final round will get the call letter or joining letter of the job at the respective location.

  • Stage-I – Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Exam- 400 Marks
  • Stage II – Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Exam (Conventional Type Papers)- 600 Marks
