RRB NTPC Result 2022 CBT 1st Stage Revised Scorecard Out 

Recently Railway Recruitment Board has announced CEN 01/2019. Through this Notification, the department is filling 35,277 Non-Technical Popular Categories vacancies of Graduate & Under Graduate posts. 

Graduate Posts are Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk, Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, and Commercial cum Ticket Clerk. 

Graduate Posts are Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist Jr Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, and Station Master. 

There is a two-stage computer-based Test (CBT) i.e. 1st Stage and 2nd Stage followed by Skill Test. Candidates who will clear all two stages then a list of qualified candidates will be called for Computer Based Aptitude Test For Station Master and Traffic Assistant and Typing skill test will be for all remaining posts.

RRB NTPC CEN 01/2019 Exam marking scheme 

Shortlisting of aspirants for various stages shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them whenever CBT is conducted in multiple sessions for the same syllabus. 

1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

We know that Stage-I was held for 100 Marks. in the Question Papers, there were 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. 40 Questions made from General Awareness, 30 questions from Mathematics, and 30 Questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning. Each question carries 1 Mark. There will be negative marking and a 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer

NTPC 1st Stage CBT Minimum Qualifying Marks- The Authority has decided the minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories. Candidates have to secure 40% for Unreserved, 40% for EWS, 30% for OBC (Non creamy layer), 30% for SC, and 25% for ST. 

2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

The Stage-II of CBT was held in the same subjects as the 1st Stage. But there is a total of 120 Marks and the Paper will carry 120 questions from all subjects. There will be negative marking and a 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Calculation of Normalized Marks for Multi-Session Papers:- 

In 1st Stage CBT, for some 7th CPC Levels in 2nd Stage CBT and for CBAT, the exam may have to be organized in multiple sessions. For these multisession papers, a suitable normalization is applied to take into account any variation in the difficulty levels of the question papers across different sessions.

RRB NTPC Cut off Marks 2022

The Railway NTPC Cut off for 1st & 2nd Stage CBT is given here. The Authority has fixed the minimum cut-off marks category-wise. Aspirants who will get minimum passing marks will be eligible for the next selection round. There are various factors that affect the Cutoff. It will be released with RRB NTPC Result 2022. 

There are no sectional Cut off marks and students are required to secure cut-off marks out of overall Marks. The board determine RRB NTPC Cut off based on the following factors – 

  • Number of Vacancies 
  • Paper difficulty Level 
  • Number of candidates who appeared in the Exam 
  • Previous Cut off marks 
  • Category wise reservation 

Railway NTPC CBT 1 Result- Minimum Qualifying Marks 

The computer-based Test stage 1 is qualifying in nature. The total number of Marks on the Exam is 100. The normalized score of CBT 1 will be used to shortlist candidates for CBT 2 as per their merit.

These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of a shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Cut off Marks 

Aspirants 20 times the number of category-wise vacancies are selected for this stage based on the performance in the first stage. The score of candidates for this stage is calculated out of 120 Marks. They are required to secure the qualifying marks to qualify for this stage. Qualifying this stage will be shortlisted for document verification, Typing Skill Test/ Computer Based Aptitude Test.

Railway NTPC Result for CBAT 

Students 8 times the number of vacancies of station (SM)/ Traffic Assistant (TA) for each of the categories like UR, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and EWS (including ExSM) will be shortlisted for this stage based on their performance in CBT 2. Aspirants need to secure a minimum score of 42 marks in each test to qualify. 

The minimum passing marks are applicable irrespective of aspirants belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen. The RRB NTPC Merit list of SM/TA is drawn from among the aspirants qualifying for the CBAT by giving 70% weightage to CBT 2 and 30% weightage to CBAT. 

RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test (TST)

For senior clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts, Senior Time Keeper, Account Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk cum Typist posts typing skill test (TST) is organized. This stage is qualifying in nature and marks obtained in this test are not added for preparing the merit list. Candidates 8 times the number of vacancies are called for this stage based on their performance in CBT 2.

RRB NTPC Merit List 2022 

The Railway NTPC Merit list will be made by the board. Marks of CBT 2 will be added to the Merit list. The First Stage of CBT is qualifying in nature and marks will not add to the merit list for the next selection phase. 

The Merit list will issue with RRB NTPC Result 2022. The Recruitment board will make the final RRB Non-Technical NTPC Merit list by counting marks from CBT 2nd Stage and Computer Aptitude Test and Skill Test.

Question – Does marks of RRB NTPC Result for the First Stage will add to the final score?

Answer- No, marks of CBT 1 will not be added to the final score. The final score depends on the Marks aspirants obtained in the CBT 2 Exam result of RRB Non-Technical Post Categories.
