Assam Police Bharti 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates first check eligible norms for Assam Police Constable Bharti 2022. They check Assam Police Bharti PST PET Physical Test Criteria and Age, Qualification.
Age Limit- Candidate’s age should be between 18 to 21 Years as on 01-01-2021. He/she must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.2000.
Qualification- HSLC or equivalent Exam passed from a recognized Board or Council
Note- In addition for the post of Constable (Nursing), a Nursing Diploma is necessary

Assam Police Constable Bharti 2022 Selection Process PST PET & Written Test
All aspirants check the Selection Process for Assam Police Constable Recruitment. They may see Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Written Exam Pattern.
Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respect will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET).
Physical Standard Test- -Measurement of the height & chest (Chest measurement is only for males & transgender )of the candidates will be done using the latest technology. And after which the candidate will be examined by a Medical Officer for preliminary check-ups like Knocked knee, Vision test, Colour blindness test, Flat foot, Varicose vein, Physical deformities.
And then a list of shortlisted candidates will be called for PET (Physical Efficiency Test).
Assam Police Bharti Physical Effieicny Test-
PET- 80 Marks for Male & Transgender and 60 marks for Female
Aspirants who clear PST will be required to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test. The Physical Efficiency Test will carry 80 marks (male & transgender)/ 60 marks (female). It will have FOUR events for males & transgender and THREE events for females.
(i) 4.8 km Race: Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 4.8 km race to be completed within 20 minutes.
(ii) Long Jump: Minimum 365 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
(iii) Chin Up:– 4 times is for qualifying.
(iv) 100 meter Race. To be completed within 15 seconds.
Psychometric Test (Constable AB only)
All candidates who clear PST/PET will have to appear in a PSYCHOMETRIC TEST. Refer detailed Notification
Assam Police Constable Written Exam Pattern (AB-UB)
Written test for Assam Police Bharti will consist of 45 Multiple choice type questions. For each correct answer, the aspirant will get 1 mark. Total marks for the written test will be 45. There will be no negative marking. The questions will cover the following subjects-
- Elementary Arithmetic
- General English
- Logical reasoning/Mental ability
- Assam’s History, Geography, Polity, Economy
- General Awareness/General Knowledge and current affairs
