Assam Police Constable Syllabus 2022– UB AB Constable Selection Process
The police Department is creating manpower to control the workload. Board is filling 6662 vacancies of constable (un-Armed Branch & armed Branch of Assam Police). Aspirants whose applications are found correct in all respect will have to undergo the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Scrutiny of Documents for all candidates will be checked before PST/PET. Total of 100 Marks assigned for Assam AB UB Constable Selection.

Assam Police Constable Bharti- Physical Standard Test
After the documents are found correct, the candidates will have to appear in the PST (Physical Standard Test). It will carry no marks. Measurement of the height, weight & chest (only males) of the candidates will be done using the latest technology and after which the candidate will be examined by a Medical Officer for preliminary check-ups like knock knee, vision test, color blindness test, flat foot, varicose vein, physical deformities etc. Once a candidate clears the PST he/she will have to appear in the PET (Physical Efficiency Test).

Physical Efficiency Test – 40 Marks- Candidates, who clear PST, will be required to undergo PET. The PET consists of the following: The Physical Efficiency Test will carry 40 marks. It will have 2 (two) events such as Race and long Jump
For Male Candidates-
Race- Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 3.2 km race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds).
Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
Female Candidates
- a) Race: Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 1600 mtrs. Race to be completed within 08 minutes.
- b) Long Jump: Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
Assam Police Constable Exam Pattern 2022
Before download Assam Police Constable Syllabus 2022 candidates should check Exam pattern and nature of papers. The Written test will carry 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice questions. Half Mark will get by a candidate for each correct answer. In this exam questions will be asked from Class 12th and 10th Standards. The total marks for the Written Test will be 50. There will be no negative marking.
Note- The Maximum Marks in Extra-Curricular Activities and Special Skills-10 Marks. Candidates should bring a set of photocopies of documents against which he/she claiming marks under “Extra-Curricular Activities and Special Skills”
