SSC MTS Tier 2 Cut off Criteria
Candidates have been shortlisted in Paper-I by applying tentative vacancies to candidates’ ratio of 1:15. Further, the following minimum cut-off has been applied to the normalized scores of Paper-I: UR/ EWS-30%, OBC25%, Others-20%. SSC MTS Cut off Marks 2022 – Multi-Tasking staff Paper-II Qualifying Marks
The Cut off marks are the minimum qualifying Marks decided by the Recruitment board. If candidates secure these passing marks or above marks then they will be declared qualified for the next selection phase. The Authority prepares the SSC MTS Cut off List category-wise. There are various factors that affect the cutoff such as the number of candidates who participated in the Examination, Total Vacancies, Paper Difficulty Level, Previous Year Cut off Marks, and Reservation.
We know that Paper-II of MTS is qualifying in nature. Its marks will not be added while preparing the SSC MTS merit list. After the declaration of the SSC MTS Paper-II Result, selected aspirants are called for the Document Verification process. Paper-II was held for 50 Marks for a Short Essay. So aspirants have to qualify this paper with the required marks.

SSC MTS Selection Criteria
Aspirants will be shortlisted for selection on the basis of their performance in Paper-I and Paper-II. There are no marks added of Paper-II in final merit list because paper-II is qualifying in nature. SSC MTS Paper-I Cut off and paper-II qualifying marks may be different for vacancies in each State/UT will be fixed at the discretion of the Commission.
If students grab passing marks in Paper-II then the selected will be called for Document Verification. We already discussed that Paper-II Marks will not be added while preparing the final merit list.
Note- Staff Selection Commission has decided to evaluate Paper-II (Descriptive Type) of the contenders who have given the option of Delhi in a ratio of 1:3 (vacancies to candidates) and of other States in a ratio of 1:5 (vacancies to candidates) accordingly, based on the performance in Paper -I and tentative vacancies in each State.
