Punjab Police SI Syllabus 2023 – Sub Inspector Exam Pattern
Punjab Police Department has again invited applications for the Sub Inspector Recruitment. The Board will fill 588 Sub Inspector posts in District Police, Armed Police Cadre. Punjab Police SI Application Process was commenced between 07th February 2023 and 28th February 2023.
For the selection process, the department will conduct the Computer Based Examination (400 Marks), Document Verification, Physical Measurement Test, and Physical Testing Test Selection. Both the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test will be of qualifying nature.

Selection Process for Punjab Police SI Bharti 2023
Lots of candidates are searching for Punjab Police Sub Inspector Selection Process. Candidates have to clear various selection rounds for a final appointment on the desired post. Below, The selection process shall be a stage process consisting of the following Tests-
- Stage-I – Stage I will consist of three Computer Based, Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type Papers viz. Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III, of which Paper III shall be qualifying in nature.
- Stage-II – Stage II will consist of Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and a Physical Screening Test (PST). Both the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature.
- Stage-III – Stage III will consist of Document Scrutiny.

Candidates applying for Sub Inspector vacancies in different cadres should be of the below-mentioned minimum prescribed height for being eligible for the posts.

Punjab Police SI Exam Pattern 2023
Before explaining Punjab Police SI Syllabus, First, check Sub Inspector Exam Pattern. Stage I of Recruitment will be a Computer Based Test. CBT is consisting of multiple-choice Question Papers. The Question Papers shall be bilingual viz. in Punjabi and English.
Paper-I – Carries 100 objective multiple choice Questions for 400 Marks. The Question Paper shall be made from General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Skills, and Punjabi Language.
Paper-II – Carries 100 questions and each question has 4 marks. This section contains questions from Logical & Analytical Reasoning and Data Interpretation, Digital Literacy & Computer Awareness, and English Language. The time duration shall be 2 hours for each paper.

Mandatory Qualifying paper of Punjabi Language equivalent to Matriculation standard comprising of 50 questions carrying one (01) mark each. This paper shall be qualifying in nature with 50% marks as the qualifying criteria. Moreover, The marks obtained in this Paper shall not be counted for determining merit.

Punjab Police SI Physical Screening Test 2023
The Physical Screening Test (PST) shall be qualifying in nature and shall comprise the following events.
For District Police and Armed Police Cadres

(b) Long Jump 3.65 meters (only 3 chances)

|For Ex-Servicemen Male Candidates of age more than 35 years (as on January 1, 2023)||(a) 1400 meters walk and run to be completed in 12 minutes (only one chance)
