Hello Guys, Good News for Students who are appearing in the “Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2023”. The Indian Institutes of Technology, Kanpur is conducting GATE 2023 and the test has been conducted on 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th February 2023 at various Exam centers. After the examination, all candidates will search IIT Kanpur GATE Exam Marks/ Scorecard and All India Rank (AIR) at www.gate.iitk.ac.in. Besides, we are providing the previous GATE Cutoff subject-wise. There are 29 subjects in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
Every year, the Indian Institutes of Technologies conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2023. Qualified students will be able for admission into M.Tech and M.Sc Programmes in Engineering, Technology, and Architecture fields. GATE Cut off Marks 2023 IIT Kanpur GATE Exam Cut off List
This year Indian Institutes of Technology, Kanpur is conducting the “GATE 2023”. The GATE Entrance Exam was conducted by IIT Kanpur on 04th, 05th, 11th, and 12th February 2023. There are 29 Papers conducted in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2023. In GATE Question Papers, 65 questions were asked for a total of 100 Marks.
In all the papers, there will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks, out of which 10 questions carrying a total of 15 marks will be on General Aptitude (GA), which is intended to test the Language and Analytical Skills.
Aspirants have to obtain GATE minimum Cut off Marks from their respective papers. If they secure GATE 2023 Cut off then the board will call them for GATE Counselling Process as per their All India Rank (AIR). Therefore along with Cut off they must check GATE Rank List.

The GATE 2023 Cut off is the minimum mark that students must obtain to qualify for the exam. The Board has decided Cut off Marks category-wise for General/OBC/SC/ST. In this section, students must check the Expected GATE Cut off for SC Students. There are various factors based on Board that will prepare GATE Cut off list subject-wise. We want to tell you that there are various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). It actively recruits students with valid GATE Results.
GATE Cut off for PSUs will be different and will issue separately for each participating PSU. Qualified candidates will also be eligible for Government offered scholarships, stipends and allowances.

GATE 2023 Marking Scheme
Students check the GATE Marking Scheme and Distribution of Marks and Questions. We already discussed that the GATE was conducted for 29 Papers. Now we will check the Marking scheme paper-wise.
General Aptitude (GA) Questions- In all papers, GA questions carry a total of 15 marks. The GA section includes 5 questions carrying 1-mark each (sub-total 5 marks) and 5 questions carrying 2-marks each (sub-total 10 marks).
Question Papers other than GG, XE and XL- These papers would contain 25 questions carrying 1-mark each (sub-total 25 marks) and 30 questions carrying 2 marks each (sub-total 60 marks) consisting of both the MCQ and NAT Questions.
GG (Geology and Geophysics) Paper- Apart from the General Aptitude (GA) section, the GG question paper consists of two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A consists of 25 questions carrying 1-mark each (sub-total 25 marks and some of these may be numerical answer type questions). Either section of Part B (Section 1 and Section 2) consists of 30 questions carrying 2 marks each (sub-total 60 marks and some of these may be numerical answer type questions).
XE Paper (Engineering Sciences)-
GA – General Aptitude carrying a total of 15 marks.
Section A– Engineering Mathematics (Compulsory): This section contains 11 questions carrying a total of 15 marks:
Any two of XE Sections B to H: Each of the optional sections of the XE paper (Sections B through H) contains 22

GATE Scorecard 2023
The IIT Kanpur will declare GATE Result on 16th March 2023 and students can grab Result on the GOAPs website. GATE Score is valid for THREE Years from the date of declaration of the GATE Result. After the declaration of results, the qualified candidates can download their GATE 2023 Scorecards.
