It is mandatory to obtain equal to or above marks from minimum qualifying Marks. because the Recruitment Board has already fixed the NORCET Passing Marks for Prelims and Mains Exam. And applicants need to score these marks category-wise for General, OBC, SC, ST and EWS. There are various factors that affect the AIIMS NORCET Cutoff. In addition, the Cutoff /merit list will be prepared based on Marks obtained from the written Exam out of 100 Marks. Hence, Authority determines the Cutoff based on the following factors-

AIIMS NORCET 5 2023 Qualifying Marks
The qualifying Marks in Stage I: NORCET prelims Exam will be 50 Percentile for Unreserved/EWS, 45 percentile for OBC and 40 percentile for SC & ST. Candidates qualifying in Stage-I Exam equal to 5 times the total seats in each category (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) will be called for Stage II.
The qualifying marks in Stage II: NORCET Mains Examination will be 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC & ST. For PWBD, an additional 5% relaxation will be given irrespective of the category.
AIIMS NORCET Merit List 2023
As we know the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test has 100 questions and each carries 1 mark. In Stage-I Prelims Exam, 20 MCQs related to General Knowledge and aptitude and 50 MCQs related to the Nursing Courses. Whereas Stage II has 100 Questions with 100 marks from the subject covering the entire syllabus of Nursing courses. If you secure minimum cutoff Marks then your name will be in the merit List. Also, the NORCET 5 merit list will prepare based on the Stage-II Mains Exam.
Presently, the applicants who are eagerly waiting for the declaration of the NORCET 5 Result since the Exam concluded need to know only those who are going to be shortlisted to be called for Stage II.
