Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has announced notification for the Lateral Entry Test for admission of students to Class IX. Through this entrance test, students will take admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for admission in Class IX during 2024-25 against vacant seats.
The Selection Test for admission to Class IX will be organized in February 2024. Many students are waiting for NVS 9th Class Admission Notification. They are now able to apply for JNVST Registration Form.

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has invited JNVST 9th Online Form. At Present, there are 646 functional Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya spread over 28 states and 07 UTs. The Department will organize Class IX Lateral Entry Selection Test 2024 in February 2023. Eligibility Criteria for NVS Class 9 Admission Form 2024

Education Qualification – नवोदय विद्यालय 9वीं कक्षा प्रवेश फॉर्म
Only those aspirants who are studying class VIII during the academic session 2024-25 in one of the Govt recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya I functions and where admission is sought, are eligible.
Students appearing for the admission test must qualify/ pass Class VIII in the academic session 2024-25 from a Govt/Govt. recognized school in the district where he/she is seeking admission.
A student seeking admission must be born between 01.05.2008 and 30.04.2010 (both days inclusive). This is applicable to all categories of candidates including those who belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe.

How to fill JNVST 9th Class Application Form, NVS Admission Registration
Online applications may be submitted from 4th November. Students may refer to the NVS Hqrs website i.e. www.nvsadmissionclassnine.in or the JNVs website.
To attain JNVST Admission to JNV school parents must submit forms to Navodaya. At the time of filling out Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class Admission Form 2024, students must have the necessary documents/Certificates. First candidates do JNVST 9th Class Registration using a Valid E-Mail ID and Mobile number. Follow the below steps to apply online for NVS 9th Class Admission form –

- Choose “Click here to submit online Application Form for Class IX Lateral Entry Selection Test 2024”
- Open the JNVST 9th Class Admission Notification and read it carefully.

JNVST Selection process
The Selection in the Class IX Lateral Entry Selection Test will not vest any right upon the candidate to secure admission into JNV till the candidate produces all the relevant certificates such as birth certificate, pass certificate of VIII class with mark sheets, SC/ST certificate if any as prescribed by NVS for the admission.
Details of the marks obtained in the test will not be communicated and there is no provision for re-checking/re-totaling
Candidates will be considered for admission only into that Vidyalaya for which he/she has appeared for Selection Test.

NVS 9th Class Entrance Exam Pattern
The Organization will hold the NVS Entrance Exam very shortly. The Exam time duration was allotted 2 ½ hours. The medium of language for Examination will be English/Hindi
The Selection Test will consist of questions from the subjects of Mathematics, General Science, English, and Hindi. The difficulty level of the Test paper shall be Class VIII.
