UPSC ESE Syllabus 2023-24 Prelims & Mains Exam Pattern
Finally, Union Public Service Commission has published the Notification for Engineering Services Preliminary Exam 2023. A huge number of aspirants have applied for this Exam till 26 September 2023. Now Department is planning to conduct Indian Engineering Service Prelims Exam in February month. Moreover, we have discussed already that there are three phases of the Selection process. Candidates have to undergo Prelims, Main and Personal Interviews. Therefore, they need to clear all recruitment rounds with good scores. Hence, they start their preparation according to UPSC ESE Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2024.
संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा इंडियन इंजीनियरिंग सर्विसेज परीक्षा आयोजन किया जा रहा है। भारतीय अभियंता सेवा प्रारंभिक परीक्षा दिनांक 19 फरवरी 2023 को देशभर में आयोजित होगी। इस समय अभ्यर्थी UPSC ईएसई सिलेबस एवं पैटर्न पैटर्न के बारे में जानना चाहते है। इस परीक्षा में तीन चरण है – प्रारंभिक परीक्षा 500 अंक, मुख्य परीक्षा 600 अंक एंड साक्षात्कार 200 अंक। प्रीलिम्स टेस्ट में दो प्रश्न-पत्र होंगे, इसमें पहला पेपर 200 अंक का और दूसरा पेपर 300 अंक का होगा। यही मुख्य परीक्षा में 300-300 अंक के दो प्रश्न-पत्र होंगे जिसमे विषय से संबधित प्रश्न आएंगे। इस प्रकार अभ्यर्थी इंजीनियरिंग सर्विसेज सिलेबस UPSC ESE Syllabus की सहायता से परीक्षा की अच्छी तैयारी कर सकते है।

upsc.gov.in ESE Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2023-24
Many candidates have registered for Engineering Services Exam against 327 vacancies. First, Commission will organize Prelims Exam for 500 marks. And then the department will organize the again Main Exam for 600 marks. Hence, aspirants have to undergo Stage-I, Stage II and Stage III for Final Selection Process. Stage-I Preliminary Exam
In the prelims Exam, there will two papers for 200 and 300 marks. Paper-I will carry questions from General Studies and Engineering Aptitude. While paper-II will carry questions from relevant subjects like Civil, mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Telecommunication. Aspirants have to solve the ESE prelims Question papers in 2 and 3 hours respectively.
Stage-II Mains Examination
The Engineering Services Main/Stage-II Exam will consist of two conventional type papers in Engineering disciplines specific with maximum marks of 600 (300 marks in Each paper). The commission will draw a list of candidates to qualify for the Main Exam based on Marks obtained in Prelims Exam.
Stage-III Personality Test
This stage will consist of Personal Interview or Personality Test carrying 200 marks. Aspirants who obtain minimum qualifying Marks in Stage-I Prelims and Stage-II Mains Exam shall invite for Stage III. The interview has no minimum qualifying marks.
