JEE Main 2023 Counselling
NTA is responsible for only conducting the exam and handing over the result to the concerned authorities. The counseling is conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). It is conducted in online mode for admissions in IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs and Other-GFTIs. Candidates who appear for JEE Main 2023 are eligible to register for JoSAA Counselling and those who have been declared qualified in JEE (Adv) 2023 are also eligible to register for Counselling.
JoSAA Counselling process includes filling in choices, locking of choices, seat allotment, and acceptance/rejection of seats. Last year, about 107 institutes participate in JoSAA Counselling which included 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).
