WB Police Wireless Operator Exam Pattern
First of all, candidates have to undergo Preliminary Written Exam. It will be held for 100 Marks. The Questions in Prelims Test will ask MCQ-based and would be 100 objective-type questions. Each question carries one mark and the Exam is qualifying in nature. Applicants solve the question paper in 1:30 hours Question paper will be set in two languages (Bengali & Nepali). Questions of the Preliminary Examination shall be from the following subjects:-

Final Competitive Examination – Full Marks- 85
Aspirants qualified in the Physical Measurement Test (PMT)& Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will have to appear in the Final Competitive Exam which will be taken in 2 hours parts as follows-
Part-I: Physical and Mathematics (10+2 Level): (Full Marks-70)- The part-1 will be an OMR-based MCQ type Exam of one-hour duration having 70 Questions carrying equal marks each. There will be a negative marking for each incorrect answer. ¼ of the allotted marks for a particular question will be set in English only.
Part – II: Language Test (Full Marks – 15)- A translation sheet will be provided to translate a passage from English to Bengali/Nepali as the case may be. The duration of this part is 30 (thirty) minutes.
Note- The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board shall have to discretion to fix qualifying marks in the Final Competitive Exam for shortlisting candidates for the next stage.
Personality Test- 15 Marks
A limited number of aspirants fulfilling all the eligibility criteria for the post will be called for a personality test on the basis of Merit, based on the Result of the final Competitive Examination. These tests will be for 15 (fifteen) marks
