NEET Counselling Schedule 2023 NTA NEET UG Counselling Dates
National Testing Agency is planning to start Counselling Process for Admission into MBBA and BDS Courses in Medical, AIIMS and Ayush Programs (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS). As we all know that there are 1.03 lakh seats available across the Country. Through NEET Counselling 2023, Admission will be granted to 91,927 MBBS, 27,698 BDS, 52,720 Ayush, 603 BVSc seats in around 612 Medical and 315 Dental Colleges including AIIMS and JIPMER.
Recently, NTA has organized the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) on 7th May 2023 at 4097 different centers located in 499 cities of India. Nearly, 2087462 students have appeared in NEET Entrance Exam. At present, NTA has also declared NEET Result on 13 June 2023.

State Counselling
85% State quota and other seats falling under the ambit of States, candidates may apply to their respective states and a merit list as per State rules will be declared and based on All India Rank are prepared by Counselling Authorities. The Counselling for Private Medical Colleges will also conduct by the State Counselling Authority. The 85% state quota Counselling will organize for admission in the state medical & dental colleges.
All India Quota Counselling
There are 15% of all India quota seats, the counseling will manage by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India. The candidates whose scores are above 15% of the All India cut-off would be able to participate in All India Counselling. In 15% AIQ counseling, all state medical and dental colleges offer admissions on their campuses.
Through this counseling, candidates will get admission to medical colleges located anywhere in India. The seats will be allotted as per the all-India rank of the candidate and filled choices. Those who will participate in this counseling will also take part in state quota Counselling of their respective states.

NTA NEET Counselling Procedure 2023
Registration – Candidates have to register by login into the official website and fill up the choices, in completing the registration process, a unique User ID & Password will be generated and sent to the registered email ID and mobile number. With this, you will be able to proceed with the further process.
Submission of Choices – In this step, candidates have to fill the choices of courses and colleges. Candidates have to click on the Save button to lock their filled choices. You are advised not to forget to lock the preferences.
Result of Seat Allotment – In a few days of the choice locking, the seat allotment result has been declared by the authority. Candidates can view the allotment result or they can receive by SMS or email regarding allotment of course & college.
Modify of Choices – The candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted seats can modify the choices by login on to the official website with their login credentials and modifying the choices.
Allotted College Reporting – When the seats are allotted to the students, they have to report to the allotted college to confirm the seat. Pay the initial fee to confirm the seat and complete the admission formalities. In case you will reach the allotted colleges after the given time period, then the seat will transfer automatically to the next candidate.
Second Rounds of Counselling – If any of the candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seats, they can proceed for the next round of counseling.
