Hospital Authorities warns Kanika to behave like a patient not like a star. Dr RK Dhiman, the director of Sanjay Gandhi PGIMS has himself stated in an interview with Ahmadabad Mirror that Kanika has been throwing tantrums while in quarantine.

Kanika Kapoor tested positive covid-19 has been under isolationand admitted to SGPGIMS. She is being provided with gluten-free food, an air conditioned isolated room complete with a separate toilet and TV. She also has a separate Air Handling Unit for Covid-19 but is allegedly not cooperating with the hospital authorities. He added that hospital staff is at her disposal and the room is being cleaned every four hours. They are dressed in their anti-infection equipment and so are themselves not able to eat or drink anything for four hours at a time.

This new controversy arose after Kanika alleged yesterday that the hospital room was dirty and had mosquito infestation. She reportedly said in an interview that it was ‘like a jail’, she was ‘being treated like a criminal’ and that she ‘felt miserable’.

Kanika says the treatment meted out to her is appalling. “I’ve been here since 11 am and all I’ve been given is a small bottle of water to drink. I’ve been asking these people to give me something to eat but I’ve only been given two small bananas and an orange that had flies on it. I am so hungry, I haven’t even taken the medicine that I was supposed to till now. I have fever, I’ve informed them, but no one has attended to me. The food I brought with me has been taken away . I even can’t eat anything given to me as i am allergic to some food . I am hungry , thirsty and feeling miserable here.
