The Indian Coast Guard offers a challenging career to young and dynamic Indian Male/Female candidates for various branches as an Asst. Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer). There are various selection phases for this recruitment. The Department is filling 71 vacancies in GD/CPL and Technical (Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics). First candidates have to undergo Stage 1 (Screening Test) in November 2022. It is mandatory to clearing of Stage I, II, III, IV and V for Assistant Commandant in ICG.
Stage I (Screening Test) will be conducted in MCQ Pattern with a maximum mark of 400 consisting of 100 questions. How to Download ICG Assistant Commandant Exam Call Letter 2022-23

Document Required for Stage-I (Screening Test) of ICG Asst Commandant
Various documents will be required at different stages of the Assistant Commandant selection process in ICG. The following documents will be required for the first stage (screening test) of the selection process, so all the candidates should bring all the documents given below with them to the exam center
- Colored printout of E-Admit Card (Stage-I). Black and white printouts of Admit cards will not be accepted.
- Two Coloured passport Size Photograph (Same as Uploaded in the Application form).
- Original Photo ID Card as mentioned in the Application.
- SC/ST Candidates are to bring the original caste certificate and 02 photocopies of the self-attested SC/ST certificate, the original train/bus ticket, the canceled cheque leaf for NEFT payment and the travel form downloaded from the website for claiming TA.
