Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur is planning to organize GATE-2023 on 04th, 05th, and 11th, 12th February 2023. Lots of students are preparing for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering to get admission into various Master’s degree courses in the engineering department. Eligible students will take admission into ME, M.Tech / Direct Ph.D., and many other Programmes.

This year Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur is conducting the “Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering”. It is a National Level Exam organized by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and 7 IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE.

GATE 2023 के लिए Online Application Process 30 August 2022 को शुरू हुए थे और आवेदन हेतु अंतिम तिथि 7 October 2022 थी। अब GATE परीक्षा 04, 05, 11 एवं 12 फरवरी 2023 को आईआईटी कानपूर द्वारा होगी। परीक्षा के लिए GATE 2023 के Hall Ticket जनवरी के पहले सप्ताह से उपलब्ध होंगे।
How to download GATE Admit Card online at GOAPS
The GATE Admit Card 2023 is available only on the official website. The aspirants have to download their IIT Kanpur GATE Hall Ticket from this page. The GATE Entrance Exam Call Letter could be downloaded on 3rd January 2023. No Admission Certificate will be sent to the candidates by post/Email.
Contenders must bring a printout of the accessed GATE Exam Admit Card on A4-sized paper to the Exam for verification along with the original and valid photo Identity Document (NO photocopy / scanned copy / NOT an expired document), which was specified during the filling up of the online application (for example Aadhaar-UID, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, College ID, Employee ID, and Driving License).

- First, visit all candidate’s official websites i.e. https://gate.iitk.ac.in/
- Find the link to the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS).

GATE Exam Pattern 2023
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will hold with 29 Subjects. It is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The GATE Question Paper was made from General Aptitude GA (15 Marks) and the Candidate’s Selected Subject (85 Marks). The total Marks of GATE 2023 are 100 Marks. The GATE paper will carry 65 objective-type questions (10 (GA) + 55 (subject) = 65 Questions).

GATE 2023 Instructions
- Students have to report to the test center 60 Minutes before the start of the Examination.
- It is mandatory to carry a Valid GATE Admit Card 2023 on the day of the Test. Otherwise, they will not allow participating in the Test.
- The student has to bring GATE Exam Hall Ticket along with one photo identity Proof.
- They will not be permitted after the reporting time.
- During the examination, no contenders will allow leaving the exam hall before the closure of the test.
- At the Exam hall, only GATE Call Letter, ID card & pen will be permitted to be taken inside the examination hall.
