The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has organized the CAT Entrance Exam for admission to MBA Courses in IIMs. Authority completed the online Computer Based Test on 27.11.2022. And now Board is Preparing to declare CAT MBA Exam Result. CAT Result 2022 has been announced on 21st December 2022. The CAT 2022 Exam Scorecard shall release online at the IIM CAT web portal for applicants to download using their login ID and username.
It must note that CAT Scorecard will contain each Candidate’Name, Registration number, Category, Photo, Sectional Score, Overall Score, Sectional Percentile, and overall Percentile. IIM CAT Result 2022 Percentile Score Calculation
In Common Admission Test, three Marks allot for Each correct Answer and one mark deduct for Each incorrect Answer. No Marks assign for wrong answers in non-MCQ type Questions. While checking the CAT Percentile score calculation, the QA section is chosen as an example. A similar process follows for the Overall Percentile score calculation and for the other two sections, i.e. DILR and VARC in CAT 2022.
- Each student is first given marks in each section as per the number of correct and incorrect attempts, then the overall score is arrived at by totaling the section-wise scores.
- After that, these section-wise and overall CAT Scores are normalized to arrive at a Scaled CAT Score.

CAT Exam Marking Scheme 2022
- CAT is conducted in the online mode computer-based test.
- The questions in the test are asked in English language only
- There are a total of 100 question
- For a correct answer, candidates get 03 marks and there is a deduction of 01 mark for incorrect answers.
- The CAT exam is of 03 hours duration. PWD/DA candidates will get an extra hour to complete the test
