Aikyashree Scholarship 2023-24 Status
West Bengal Government is offering Scholarship Program called ‘Aikyashree’ to provide financial assistance to students from economically weaker students who wish to pursue higher education. For this, Government has developed Aikyashree Scheme. The benefit of this scheme will be given to West Bengal Minority students who come from Buddhist, Muslim, Christian and Parsi communities. There are three types of scholarships offered under this scheme – Pre Matric (Class II to Class X), Post Matric Scholarship (Class XI to Ph.D.) and Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (Technical & Professional Courses).
Candidates participating in the Aikyashree scheme will be given a scholarship of Rs 1100 to 33000. For this, the West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation has prescribed eligibility. Eligibility Criteria for Aikyashree Scholarship
- The student must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
- He/She must be studying in a School/Institution recognized by an educational Board of the State
- Must have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final Examination.
