AU APSET Cut off Marks and Merit List 2022
The APSET Cut-off Marks will be released along with APSET Result 2022. The Cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks obtained by the candidates to qualify for the written examination. The Board has decided the cutoff category-wise based on various factors. We know that the exam will be held in two papers Paper-I and Paper II. Therefore aspirants have to score minimum passing marks on both papers. Therefore are factors that affect the APSET Cutoff Marks. To qualify for Paper I, candidates should require to obtain equal or above marks from the cut-off.
APSET 2022 Selection Process
Aspirants are selected on the basis of the APSET exam as per the norms laid down by the University grants commission (UGC). The UGC Criteria basis on which APSET result is declared is as follows: –
The top 6% of the appearing candidates who appear in all three papers and secure at least 40% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to the General Category and at least 35% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to reserved categories will be declared qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professor by following the reservation policy of the State Government”.

- Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate.
- It will primarily be designed to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate.
- Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet was provided to candidates along with the test booklet to mark answers in Paper – I and Paper II.
- The Andhra University of AP will release the cut-off marks for Written Test which will be calculated from 100 marks for Paper – I & 200 marks for Paper II. On the basis of these final cut-off marks candidates will be selected for the APSET Personal Interview & Document Verification exam.

APSET Merit list
