List of Exam Cancelled due to corona Virus outbreak-
With the central and state Governments going all out in battle mode to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the country, several board exams, University exams and recruitment exams have been postponed in the country.
Latest announcement with regards to postponement of Board Exams due to Coronavirus were Andhra Pradesh 10th Exam 2020 i.e. SSC Exam; Tripura Board Exams and Tamil Nadu 11th Public Exam 2020.
Tripura Board exam postponed
TBSE on Monday i.e. 23rd March 2020 issued a notification confirming that all board exams scheduled until 31st March 2020 have been postponed by the Board. Fresh dates for the Tripura Board 10th and 12th Exam 2020 will be issued by the board at a later date.
TN 11th Public Exam postponed, 12th Exam as per Schedule
The Directorate of Government Exams, Tamil Nadu today announced that it is postponing the 11th Class Exam which is scheduled to be held from 26th March 2020. However, the DGETN has decided to continue the 12th Class Public Exam which starts today as per the regular schedule
This list will be updated as and when more exams are postponed due to Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak.
Government Lockdown states
Almost all states are closing down all non-essential activities, including malls, places of entertainment and recreation. Schools and colleges are also closed. The central government meanwhile has halted all trains, except for essential ones, and is urging people to stay at home except for emergencies.
How to handle COVID-19
Be alert and don’t panic. Also follow the Health measures given below.
- Wash your hands frequently with Sanetizers/Soap.
- Maintain social distancing: Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth often
- Practice respiratory hygiene
- If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early. Go to a nearby hospital or Government Hospital as early as possible.
