Also, NTA has started Online Registration for Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B) from 10 march 2023. Besides, eligible applicants are able to apply online for DBT JRF Application Form. Hence, they go through detailed Notification and meet to eligibility criteria. Next, Department will organize the GAT-B & BET Entrance Exam on 23 April 2023 across the country.
Furthermore, NTA GAT-B & BET Application Form 2023 is available for Junior Research Fellowship and DBT PG Biotechnology programs. First candidates complete DBT JRF Registration using a valid E-Mail ID and Mobile Number. And then, they enter personal and academic details in NTA BET online Form in the right manner. The last date to apply online for Biotechnology Eligibility Test is 31 March 2023.
NTA GAT-B & BET 2023 Application Form Date Eligibility
Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, India is awarding DBT-Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology and Life Sciences. Apart from this, the department will give admission to DBT Post Graduate Course in Biotechnology through GAT-B. Thus, National Testing Agency is conducting Graduate Aptitude Test in Biotechnology on 23 April 2023. Generally, both entrance tests have a different syllabi. There will be two sections in the Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology to be conducted by the National Testing Agency. The first section will have 60 questions for a total of 60 marks, while the second section will have 100 questions (60 to attempt) and each question will carry 3 marks. National Testing Agency invited DBT JRF Online application based on necessary eligible conditions. Therefore, candidates first check eligible norms for both GAT-B and BET Entrance Exam and then complete JRF Registration. They also check Applicatino fees category-wise and upload the required documents at the time of Applying for the Biotechnology Eligibility Test. Applicants will have to pay Application charges of Rs 1200/- for each Exam (Rs 600 for SC/ST). And they have to deposit Rs 2400/- for Both (GAT-B & BET) and Rs 1200/- for SC/ST/PwD.
DBT JRF BET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Education qualification- Candidates should have Bachelors in BE, B.Tech, MBBS and Masters’s degree in M.Sc, M.Tech, M.VSc, M.Pharm, Integrated M.Sc. They have a UG PG degree in any discipline of Biotechnology, Life Sciences such as Biomedical, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Botany, Chemistry, Computational Biology, or Genetics.
Marks- minimum 60% of Marks for General, EWS & OBC category and 55% of marks for SC, ST, PwD.
Age Limit- upto 28 Years of age as of the last date of DBT JRF Application for General & EWS category. Age Relaxation of up to 5 years for SC, ST, and Women and upto 3 Years for OBC candidates.
Graduate aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2023

GAT-B & BET 2023 Exam Pattern
Generally, the Entrance Exam for Both will conduct differently and have different question Paper. Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology consists of two sections such as Section-A and Section B. The first section has 60 Questions and each carries 1 Mark. The next section has 100 questions (Attempt only 60) and carries 180 marks. Hence, GAT-B shall be of 240 marks. Furthermore, Biotechnology Test shall conduct for 300 Marks. You have to solve Question Paper in 180 minutes.
