Delhi Nursery Admission 2023-24 Registration begins for Private Schools, Delhi Nursery School Admission Application Form, Apply online for Entry Level Classes Admission Online Form at www.edudel.nic.in/
The government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has published Admission Schedule for Entry Level Classes (below six years of age) for Open seats in Private Schools. Education Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi has released Delhi Nursery School Admission Notification. Department will start Registration Process for Admissions in Entry Classes (Nursery / KG / Class-I) from Today, 1st December 2022. The Nursery Admission will begin from the Private Schools for Open Seats (Other than EWS/DG/CWSN Category Seats) for the academic session 2023-24.
Parents of Students should complete Online Registration for Delhi Nursery Admission Form by 23rd December 2022. Parents first check eligibility criteria, Admission Process by visiting the official website i.e. www.edudel.nic.in.
Delhi Nursery Admission Form 2023-24 Online Registration Starts
Good news for students whose parents are looking for Nursery School Admission for Open Seats in Private unaided recognized Schools of Delhi. For the nursery Admission, the aspirant should be at least four years of age, KG (Pre Primary) Five Years, Class-1- Six Years as of 31 March 2023.
On 28.11.2022, the Directorate of Education has issued Notification for Delhi Nursery, Pre Nursery and Class 1st Admission for the academic Session 2023-24. There are more than 1800 private Schools. Delhi Government has started the Nursery School Admission Registration from 01.12.2022. The last date to submit Delhi Nursery Admission Online Form is 25th December 2022. दिल्ली नर्सरी प्रवेश 1 दिसंबर, 2022 से शुरू हो गए है। छात्रों के माता-पिता शिक्षा निदेशालय की दिल्ली की वेबसाइट edudel.nic.in पर अपनी जानकारी दर्ज करा सकते हैं। शिक्षा निदेशालय की 21 नवंबर, 2022 की घोषणा के अनुसार, आगामी शैक्षणिक वर्ष 2023-24 के लिए दिल्ली के 1,800 से अधिक निजी स्कूलों में प्रवेश स्तर की कक्षाओं के लिए प्रवेश प्रक्रिया से शुरू होगी। आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि 23 दिसंबर, 2022 है। उम्मीदवारों की प्रारंभिक सूची 20 जनवरी, 2023 को जारी की जाएगी। इसके बाद दूसरी चयन सूची और प्रतीक्षा सूची डीओई द्वारा 6 फरवरी, 2023 को सार्वजनिक किया जाएगा। इस चयन की अंतिम तिथि 17 मार्च, 2023 है। बुधवार से दिल्ली के निजी स्कूल भी नर्सरी के अलावा केजी और कक्षा 1 में प्रवेश के लिए आवेदन स्वीकार करेंगे।
अधिसूचना के अनुसार, केवल 25 रुपये के गैर-वापसी योग्य पंजीकरण शुल्क जमा करवाना होगा और माता-पिता को स्कूल का प्रॉस्पेक्टस खरीदने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। इसमें कहा गया है कि सभी निजी स्कूलों को आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग (ईडब्ल्यूएस), वंचित समूहों के सदस्यों और विकलांग बच्चों के लिए 25% सीटें अलग रखनी चाहिए।

Eligibility Criteria for Nursery Admission in Delhi Private Schools
First parents check eligibility for Pre-School, Pre Primary (KG) and 1st Class Admission. Students should be below six years of Age for Entry Level Classes for Open Seats in Private unaided Recognized Schools of Delhi. For Admission in Pre School, Pre Primary and Class-I, the minimum age shall be 3 years, 4 years and 5 Years respectively by 31.03.2023.
Pre-School (Nursery)- Less than 4 Years as on 31 March of the year in which the Admission in sought.
Pre Primary (KG)- Less than 05 Years as on 31 March 2023
Class-1st- Less than 06 Years as on 31.03.2023.
Note- The age relaxation for admission of upto 30 days may be granted at the level of head of School in the minimum & upper age limit for these classes.
Required for Delhi Nursery Admission Process
Parent of students has to verify necessary documents during Entry Level Class Admission. Authority has issued document Name and these certificates should valid as proof of address. Some of the indicative documents which can be considered as proof of residence of parents/child.
- Ration Card/Smart card issued in the name of Parents
- Domicile Certificate of Child or of his/her parents
- Voter ID Card (EPIC) of any of the parents
- Electricity bill or other address proof of parents
- Birth Certificate of Child
- Parent’s Aadhar Card

First of all the private unaided recognized Schools shall upload their criteria for Admission under Open Seats at Entry Level Classes. They may use their Login ID and password.
