There are 2 Papers in Lab Assistant Exam. Paper I consists of 100 Questions from the Subjects Hindi, and General Studies. Paper Ii consists of 150 Questions from the subject’s knowledge i.e. physics, chemistry, Zoology & Botany.

प्रयोगशाला सहायक चयन प्रक्रिया एवं पाठ्यक्रम
आयोग द्वारा लिखित परीक्षा कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा ली जाएगी। परीक्षा एक चरण (मुख्य परीक्षा) में ली जाएगी। परीक्षा में सभी प्रसन वस्तुनिष्ट एवं वहुविकल्पी उत्तर युक्त होंगे। सभी विषयो के प्रश्न हिंदी एवं अंग्रेजी भाषा में होंगे। मुख्य परीक्षा के लिए दो पत्र होंगे। यह परीक्षा दो पारियो में ली जाएगी। प्रत्येक पत्र की परीक्षा की अवधि ३ घंटे की होगी।
प्रथम भाग – प्रथम प्रश्न – 1 पत्र सामान्य ज्ञान एवं हिंदी भाषा का 100 अंक का होगा। 50 प्रश्न सामान्य ज्ञान तथा 50 प्रश्न हिन्दी भाषा से होंगे प्रत्येक प्रश्न के सही उत्तर के लिए 1 अंक दिए जायेंगे। प्रश्न पत्र – 1 क्वालीफाइंग प्रश्न पत्र होगा, अर्थार्थ इसमें मात्र न्यूनतम 33 प्रतिशत अंक लाना अनिवार्य होगा। परंतु जिन अभ्यर्थयों द्वारा 33 प्रतिशत अंक नहीं लाया जायेगा, उनके प्रश्न पत्र – 2 की उत्तर पुस्तिका का मूल्यांकन नहीं किआ जायेगा।
द्वितीय भाग – प्रश्न पत्र -2 जिस विषय में नियुक्ति होनी हे उस विषय की परीक्षा 300 अंक का होगा। प्रश्न पत्र -2 में कुल 150 प्रश्न विषय से समंदित होंगे। प्रत्येक प्रश्न के सही उत्तर के लिए 2 अंक दिए जायेंगे। प्रश्न पत्र – 2 के अंतर्गत न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिस्थ अंक लाना अनिवार्य होगा। अनुसूचित जाति/ अनुसूचित जनजाति के उमीदारो को 45 प्रतिस्थ अंक लाना अनिवार्य होगा।
प्रश्न पत्र -1 एवं प्रश्न पत्र – 2 में गलत उत्तर के लिए अंको की कटौती नहीं की जाएगी। अनिवार्य अंक अथवा इससे अधिक अंक लाने वाले अभ्यर्थियों की एक मेघा सूचि तैयार की जाएगी। यह मेघा सूचि प्रयोगशाला सहायक पद पर नियुक्ति का आधार होगी।

The first question paper will be of General Knowledge and Hindi language for 100 marks and the question paper – 2 The examination of the subject in which the appointment is to be made will be of 300 marks.
