ESIC UDC Syllabus 2022 – UDC Stenographer MTS Exam Pattern
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is recruiting candidates for (UDC), Stenographer (Steno), and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) posts. There are 4032 vacancies for eligible candidates who want to be a part of ESIC.
The Selection will be done via various selection phases. Candidates whose applications will be filled successfully will call for a written Exam (Phase-I Preliminary Exam). After that list of selected aspirants will be called for Main Exam (Phase-II). And the last department will conduct Computer Skill Test (Phase-III).

ESIC UDC Exam Pattern 2022 – Prelims, Mains, Computer Skill Test
Phase I – Prelims Examination
- There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the mark, for every wrong answer.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10. About 10 times the total vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I Examination.

- The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-III Computer Skill Test in the ratio of 1:5 i.e. about 5 times the total vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance.

The working knowledge of PWD Candidates who are unable to type shall be assessed by holding an Objective Type Computer Test of 50 Marks of 50 Questions with no negative marking in that.

Phase I – Mains Examination

- Candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10. About 10 times the total vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I Examination.

Stenographer Test
Stenography Test for 10 minutes with a speed of 80 wpm in English/Hindi and transcription of the same on the computer for 01 hours. VH candidate will be required to transcribe the matter in 85 minutes for English Shorthand or in 95 minutes for Hindi Shorthand for the post of Stenographer.
