Recently, Chandigarh Municipal Corporation issued notification for Group-A, Group-B & Group-C vacancies. There are 178 vacancies for Clerk, Fireman, Driver, Steno-Typist, JE, DEO, Supervisor and Draftsman posts.

MCC Exam Pattern for Station Fire Officer, Fireman & Driver 

The written exam will be for 100 Marks and the Paper will carry 100 Objective type questions. Each question carries one mark. The Physical test shall be qualifying in nature. The Cut off marks for each category in each post will be 25% marks. 

Negative Marking – ¼ Marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

MCC Fireman Exam Pattern 

  1. Duration 02 Hours for exam containing 100 questions.
  2. There will be one paper containing 100 Objective type questions with multiple choice.
  3. Each question will carry 01 mark
  4.  ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  5. The question Paper will in Bilingual (i.e both in English & Hindi).
  6. The physical test shall be qualifying in nature.
  7. The test center will be Chandigarh only.
  8. Cut-off marks for each category in each post will be 25% (i.e. minimum passing marks is 25% of the total marks).

Chandigarh MC Driver Exam Pattern  

The paper shall carry 100 Questions for 2 Hours.

The exam will be of Objective Type.

Questions will be in the form of MCQs.

Each question will carry 01 mark

There will Negative marking and ¼ Marks will be deducted 

Question Paper will be in Bilingual (i.e both in English & Hindi)

The physical test shall be qualifying in nature.

The  Test center will be Chandigarh only.

Cut-off marks for each category in each post will be 25% (i.e. minimum passing marks is 25% of the total marks).

MCC SDE (Civil) Pattern 

General English 10 Marks
General Knowledge 10 Marks

Job Related as per essential qualification. 50 Marks

For SDE (Hort) :

  • Exam will carry 90 questions Each question carries 1 mark. 
  • There will be one paper containing 90 Objective type questions with multiple choice (as the interview carries 10 marks for the post of SDE).
  • 03 times of the number of vacancies shall be shortlisted for interview for the post of Sub Divisional Engineer.
  • There will Negative marking and ¼ Marks will be deducted 
  • The medium of examination will English only
  • The examination center will be Chandigarh only.
  • Minimum passing marks is 25% of the total marks).

Accountant Exam Pattern 

The written exam for Accountant will be held for 100 Marks. There will be 100 questions asked from the various section. And each question carries one mark. There will be negative marking and ¼ marks will deduct for every single incorrect answer. Candidates have to solve the complete paper in 2 Hours.

02 Hours for exam containing 100 questions. There will be one paper containing 100 Objective type questions with multiple choice. Each question will carry 01 marks. There will be negative marking and ¼ marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Paper will make in Medium of English Only. Cut off marks for each category in each post will be 25% (i.e. minimum passing marks is 25% of the total marks

  • Question Number-  There will be one paper containing 100 objective-type questions with multiple choice.
