The Central Airmen Selection Board is recruiting eligible candidates for Airmen Vacant seats in various trades. There are various vacancies in Group X and Group Y. Every year, the board conducts a “Selection test for Airman Recruitment” by announcing intake advertisements.
Marks scored by the aspirants in STAR Phase-I testing will normalized to take into account variation in difficulty levels of the Question papers across different sessions. The Cutoff for shortlisting aspirants for STAR Phase-II testing and preparation of the final Merit list for selection based on Normalised Marks and Actual marks scored by the aspirant in STAR Phase-I testing.

IAF Airmen Exam Qualifying Marks- Group X & Y Passing Marks
The Airman Exam of the Indian Air Force was held trades-wise. Here, first students should check Group X, Group Y and Both Groups test pattern and marking scheme. Details of the test are as follows:-
Group X Trade (Except Education Instructor):- Duration of the online test shall be 60 Minutes and shall comprise of English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE Syllabus
Group ‘Y’ Trades {Except Auto Tech, IAF(P), IAF(S) and Musician}: Duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA)
Both Group X & Y Trades: Duration of the online test shall be 85 Minutes and shall comprise of English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
Note- Candidates are to qualify in each paper separately in their respective Groups. The result of Phase-I and the list of shortlisted candidates for Phase-II, based on their performance in the Phase-I Online test.

Finally, the department has declared the Indian Air Force Group X Y Cut off marks along with the result. There are many details on the Result page like Name, Roll Number, Cut off marks and rank of candidates. We have provided simple steps to check the IAF Group X Y Exam Cut off list, candidates use the followings steps-
- All candidates visit the official website go to airmenselection.cdac.in. CASB portal will open.
- Navigate to the news section and select the announcement link
- If a list of shortlisted aspirants is out click on link and open the file.
- And then Choose Group i.e. X and Y
- After that check your score, you have to click on sign in. Once you reach login, you have to enter your email ID, password in order to login and check the scorecard.
- Finally, click on the submit button and save the IAF Group X and Y Cut off.

IAF Airmen Merit List 2023
On the basis of the selection test, a Provisional Select List (PSL) i.e. Merit list will prepare on the basis of the performance of the candidates. The selected candidates will be called for the further selection process.
After issuing the Airmen phase-I result, shortlisted aspirants will be invited for Phase-II at the Airmen Selection center. Admit cards for Phase-II will be sent to these candidates on their registered email addresses. Candidates without the admit card will not be able to attend the phase II test.

Students can calculate their marks easily by following the given formula. Students will be asked questions from different sections in the online test performed in Phase-I.
