The Stenographer Grade C and D Examination, 2023’ has been conducted on 12th & 13th October 2023 at various centres. Likewise, Result of Steno Grade C & D Exam is available now. Approximately, 23423 candidates have declared Qualified in Computer Based Test for appearing in Skill Test. The Commission will decide the minimum Stenographer Grade C & D Cutoff Marks category-wise. Candidates get SSC Steno Exam passing marks out of 200 Marks. SSC Stenographer Cut off Marks 2023-24 Steno Grade C & D Qualifying Marks
Well, We know that the Commission had conducted a written Exam and it was be of 200 Marks. The Authority is already fixed the SSC Steno Cut off percent for General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PwD, ESM, etc. Based on the marks scored in the Stenographer CBT Examination, students will be shortlisted to appear in the Skill Test category-wise. Skill Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. The Commission will fix category-wise qualifying standards in the Skill Test for each post. The aspirants who qualify for the Skill test will be considered for final selection on basis of their merit in the CBE. The minimum Qualifying marks in Computer Based Examinations are as follows:-

How determine SSC Steno Grade C and D Cut off 2023?
The Cut off Marks are the minimum qualifying marks the candidates obtain to qualify for the test. The category-wise percentages out of total marks, Board have already been fixed. We know that a Computer Based Test is conducted for 200 Marks. And there is no sectional Cutoff and candidates have to secure a minimum passing out of total of 200 Marks. But still, the authority may change SSC Stenographer Cut off marks. Because various factors affect the SSC Steno Exam Cut-off marks. The Commission prepares the SSC Stenographer Off-list based on the following factors-
- Number of candidates who participated in the Examination
- The Difficulty level of SSC Stenographer Exam Paper
- Previous year Cut off of Steno Grade C and D Exam
- Total Number of vacant seats
- Average Marks obtained by students in the Examination
- Category wise reservation
SSC Stenographer Cutoff Marks 2023
We know that many aspirants have appeared in Computer Based Test which was held on 12 & 13 October 2023. Commission has declared Results on 24 November for Grade C & D Exam 2022. Based on the Performance of Candidates in Computer Based Exam, 3596 candidates for Stenographer Grade C and 18299 Candidates for Grade D Qualified to appear in Skill Test. The Commission will release the SSC Steno Grade C & D Cut off marks along with the Result. After completion of the Computer-based Examination, Department will issue the status of the Steno Exam Score Card, and Category wise Cutoff. Staff Selection Commission conducted Computer Based Examination for Stenographers Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’- Examination, 2020 in November 2021 at various centers all over the country. Cut off for Stenographer Skill Test
If candidates secure minimum passing marks in the Computer-based Exam are called for the Skill Test. Based on Skill Test Cut off candidates will call for the Document Verification process. The Skill Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. The Commission fixes the qualifying marks for each post based on the category in the Skill Test.
