Andhra University has released APSET Notification. The “Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2021” will be conducted in December 2021. The test conducts for recruitment and promotions of Lecturers /Assistant Professors in Universities and Degree colleges. This is great news for those candidates who want apply for AP lecturers/Assistant Vacancy. The Starting date for Apply online AP SET from August 2021.
First, all contenders must check the APSET 2021 Notification carefully to know the Eligibility and selection process. If they meet to eligibility norms then fill APSET Application Form 2021 with correct academic and personal details. They must submit the APSET online form on or before September 2021.
Latest Updates-The second phase APSET-2020 Certificate verification to be held at Visakhapatnam from 27th to 29th April 2021 is canceled due to representations from several candidates.
The candidates who could not attend for the first phase certificate verification of APSET-2020 may send the scanned attested copies of the Certificates to the Member Secretary, APSET at the email apsetau@gmail.com by 10th May 2021.

AP SET Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants have secured at least 55% marks in Masters’ Degree or equivalent exam from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC. BC/SC/ST & PwD candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Post Graduate are eligibility for Andhra Pradesh SET 2021. Latest Teaching Jobs
Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test
Applicants belonging to the transgender category would be eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee, age and qualifying criteria for AP SET 2021.
The Ph.D.degree holders whose Master’s level examination has been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their Post Graduation only. The candidates, whose Post Graduation subject is not covered in the list of SET subjects may appear in a related subject. if want to search Post Graduate Jobs then apply here
Important for AP SET 2021
- There is no upper age limit for applying for Andhra Pradesh SET 2021.
- The qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor only in the universities/ colleges situated in the Andhra Pradesh state from where they have cleared their SET.
- Contenders who have qualified earlier in APSET/UGC NET are not eligible to apply in the same subject they qualified.
