फॉर्म भरने वाले सभी उम्मीदवारों ने 28 अगस्त 2022 को निर्धारित परीक्षा केंद्रों पर सफलतापूर्वक और प्री परीक्षा दी है। तेलंगाना पुलिस आबकारी कांस्टेबल प्री परीक्षा ऑनलाइन लिखित परीक्षा की थी जिसमें बहुविकल्पीय वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार के प्रश्न शामिल थे। प्रत्येक प्रश्न 1 अंक का था, इसलिए प्रश्न पत्र 200 अंकों का था। लिखित परीक्षा की समय अवधि 03:00 घंटे थी। पेपर में प्रश्न वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकृति के थे और पेपर अंग्रेजी, तेलुगु और उर्दू भाषाओं में आयोजित किया गया था।
