The National Institute of Science Education & Research has organized the “National Entrance Screening Test” on 14th August 2021. Both NISER Bhubaneswar & UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai conducts NEST for admission to 5 Years Integrated M.Sc Program.
The computer-based test was held with 4 sections such as Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics And Physics. Each section is 50 Marks. NEST Merit List for both the institutes is prepared using the best 3 scores out of the four sections.

NISER NEST Answer key 2021- NEST Entrance Exam Solution PDF
The National Entrance Screening Test was organized for admission to the five (05) Year Integrated M.Sc Programme. Eligible students would take admission in the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai.
The National Entrance Screening Test was held on 14th August 2021. Students have to get minimum cut-off marks to be eligible for the counseling process. Overall cut-off or minimum Admissible Percentile (MAP)- Candidate is required to score equal to or above a total MAP, to get a merit rank

NEST Exam Marking Scheme – NEST Qualifying Marks
The Nest question paper consists of 4 (four) sections and each section is of 50 marks and contains subject-specific questions from Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There are a total 200 Marks for all sections.
During the preparation of the merit list, the three best scores from the four sections will be considered
Merit lists for NISER and CEBS will be prepared separately. As the Merit list calculation will be performed on marks obtained in the best three sections, the ‘total’ marks for NEST 2021 becomes 150.

Overall cut-off or Minimum Admissible Percentile (MAP)
In addition to SMAS, a candidate is required to score equal to or above a total Minimum Admissible Percentile (MAP), to get a merit rank.
- MAP for NEST 2021 is 95 percentile for general category candidates.
- NEST 2021 MAP is 90 percentile for OBC candidates.
- MAP for NEST 2021 is 75 percentile for SC/ST/Divyangjan candidates.
Importance of NEST Exam Answer Key 2021
The National Entrance Screening Test is a National level exam held annually by NISER. NEST Solved Question Papers have been announced after completion of the Entrance Exam.
