Candidates who have appeared for the MSBTE Diploma Polytechnic Exam will have one of the following statuses provided below. The MSBTE Diploma status is applicable as per the teaching & exam scheme for a particular course.
- First Class with Distinction – Minimum of 75% of total marks to be in this category by clearing all the subjects/papers.
- First Class – Minimum of 65% marks or more than but less than 75% will fall under this category.
- Second Class – 45% of marks or more than but less than 60% will fall under this category.
- Pass Class –Minimum of 40% or more than but less than 45% of total marks fall under this category by passing in all the subjects/courses.
- ATKT – ATKT status awarded to the candidates as per the rules.
- WFLS/WFLY – Candidates who will pass in the final semester/year but fail in lower semester/years will come under this category.
- Fail – If the candidate fails to score minimum qualifying marks or a minimum % of aggregate will be in this category.
