SSC CGL 2021 Selection Process, Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Staff Selection Commission has been released employment notification to fill Group-A and Group-C Vacancies. The Commission will conduct Tier-I (CBE) from 29th May to 7th June 2021. The Selection Process for Combined Graduate Level Exam 2019 will cover four Tiers. The Exam will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:-

  • Tier-I: Computer Based Examination
  • Tier-II: Computer Based Examination
  • Tier-III: Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)
  • Tier-IV: Computer Proficiency Test/ Data Entry Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2021

Tier-I and Tier-II will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English comprehension in Tier-I and Paper-II in Tier-II. There is a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer in Tier-I and 0.25 in Tier-II. Thus candidates know about How to Prepare for SSC CGL Exam 2021 as per the CGL Exam pattern.

Scheme of Tier-III Exam

The Tier-III will be held for 100 Marks. The test will be of Pen and Paper mode. In this Tier, the paper will make Descriptive Paper in English or Hindi (Writing of Essay/ Precis/ Letter/ Application, etc.).
