The State Election Commission Delhi will declare MDC Mayor Election Result today i.e 6th January 2023. Earlier, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi Election was held on 4th December 2022 for 250 wards of MCD to elect Councillors. And the MCD Election Result has already been released on 7th December 2022. Now elected Ward Councillors will also elect the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Delhi Municipal Corporation by casting their vote.
The election of the mayor could not be held in the first meeting of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on Friday. A scuffle broke out between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the BJP at the Civic Center leading to the adjournment of the House.
दिल्ली नगर निगम के 250 वार्डो के लिए चुनाव पुरे हो गए है। दिनांक 04 दिसंबर को दिल्ली नगर निगम चुनाव रिजल्ट घोषित हो गया है। आम आदमी पार्टी ने बहुमत हासिल कर लिया है, और आप के खाते में 135 सीटें आई है। वही भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने 104 सीटे जीती है और कांग्रेस ने ९ सीटों पर जीत हासिल की ली है। अब MCD की 250 सीटों पर जीते उम्मीदवार मिलकर मेयर एवं महापौर का चयन करेंगे।
शुक्रवार को हुई दिल्ली नगर निगम (MCD) की सदन की बैठक में मेयर का चुनाव नहीं हो पाया। आम आदमी पार्टी (AAP) और भाजपा (BJP) के बीच सिविक सेंटर में हुई मारपीट और हाथापाई के कारण सदन को स्थगित करना पड़ा।

Finally, State Election Commission, Delhi released MCD Election Result on 07.12.2022. Earlier Commission conducted the Delhi Municipal Corporation election on 04 December 2022. Now MCD Election Results for all 250 wards was announced. Out of the total seats, Aam Adami Party won 143 Seats, Bhartiya Janata Party won 104 Seats, Congress won 09 and the others 3 seats. Now all elected candidates are pooled to elect Mayor and Deputy Mayor in Municipal Corporation, Delhi. And MCD Mayor Election Result will release on Today 7th January 2023.

Delhi Nagar Nigam Mayor Election Result 2023 Date
The Aam Aadmi Party has fielded two candidates for the post of Mayor of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi – Shelly Oberoi and Ashu Thakur, while the Bharatiya Janata Party has nominated Rekha Gupta as its mayoral candidate. Apart from this, AAP has chosen Aaley Mohammad Iqbal and Jalaj Kumar and BJP has chosen Kamal Bagri for the post of Deputy Mayor.
The Indian National Congress has not fielded any candidate for the post of mayor or deputy mayor, as they won only 9 seats in the MCD elections.
