Bihar Police SI Syllabus 2021 – BPSSC Sub Inspector Exam Pattern
बिहार पुलिस अवर सेवा आयोग पुलिस अवर निरीक्षक के 2213 रिक्त पदों पर भर्ती का आयोजन कर रहा है। इन पदों पर भर्ती के लिए विभाग विभिन्न रिक्रूटमेंट चरण आयोजित करेगा। सबसे पहले उम्मीदवारों को लिखित परीक्षा में भाग लेना होगा जो की दो चरणों में होंगी – प्रारंभिक परीक्षा और मुख्य परीक्षा। मुख्य लिखित परीक्षा के आधार पर रिक्तियों के 6 गुना अभ्यर्थियों का चयन कोटिवार मेधानुसार शारीरिक दक्षता परीक्षा के लिए किया जायेगा। अभ्यर्थियों को शारीरिक दक्षता परीक्षा में मात्र उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक होगा। शारीरिक दक्षता परीक्षा हेतु अर्हता प्राप्त अभ्यर्थियों की पर्याप्त संख्या में अन्यपलभ्धता की दशा में उक्त अनुपात उपयुक्त रूप से काम किया जा सकतेगा।

BPSSC Police Sub Inspector Syllabus 2021-22
Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission is inviting applicants for appointing 2213 Police Sub Inspector, Sergeant, Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct Recruitment, Ex-Serviceman). Candidates have to undergo the Prelims and Mains Test. The Bihar Police SI Syllabus 2021 has been listed below with the latest exam pattern released by Bihar Police Board.
Bihar Police SI Exam Pattern 2021
The Exam will be Written Objective Type.
The Exam shall be conducted in two phase’s i.e. preliminary and main examination.
Preliminary Examination
- The Exam will be Written Objective Type.
- The Pre Exam will be of Minimum 200 Marks with 100 Questions.
- The Time Duration for the Prelims Test will be 02 Hours.
- There will be a Negative Marking of 0.2 marks for each and every wrong answer.
- Those Candidates Who Score Less than 30% will be disqualified.
Note – 20 Times of Candidates from Pre Exam will be called for Main Exam.

BPSSC SI Main Examination
- The Exam will be Written Objective Type.
- Main written examination shall comprise of two papers
- Each Paper will be of 02 Hours Time Duration.
- In Paper – I, There will be 100 Questions of 200 Marks in General Hindi Section.
- There will be 30% Qualifying Marks in Paper I.
- These Marks of Paper-I will Not Include in Merit List.
- In Paper – II, There will be 100 Questions of 200 Marks in General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, and Mathematics & Mental Ability.
- There will be a Negative Marking of 0.2 marks for each and every wrong answer.
Note – 06 Times of Candidates will be called for Physical Eligibility Test.

Bihar Police SI Syllabus for General Knowledge & Current Events –
Culture and Religion, Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Harbours, Freedom Movement, Sports: championships/ Winners/ Terms /No. of Players, Defence, Wars and Neighbours, Current Affairs, Important National Facts about India, Heritage and Arts, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals and Currencies, National: Bird/ Animal/ Sport/ Flower/ Anthem/ Song/ Flag/ Monuments, Eminent Personalities, Common Names, Full forms and Abbreviations, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition, Award and Authors.
General Hindi – Mainly focus on topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, and Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test, etc.
General Studies – Question will be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity, Current Events, Geography, and Economy, etc. Focus will be on Current national & International events, banking, and sports
General Science Syllabus for BPSSC Sub Inspector Exam
Questions of General Science will include testing knowledge of matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person who didn’t study science as a subject. It will also include the Knowledge of Subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from the level of 12th Standard.
Civics, Indian History, Geography of India – Questions of Social Study will include Indian History, Culture, Geography, Environment, Economic aspects, Freedom Movement, major features of Indian Agriculture & Natural Resources, and Indian Constitution & Polity, Panchayati Raj, community development and 5 years Plan. General Knowledge of Geographical and Political condition of Bihar
Mathematics – Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart and Data Interpretation, etc.
Mental Ability Test – The test will include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.
